Sweat trickled down my forehead, mixing with the saltwater clinging to my jeans – a testament to my hasty dive moments earlier.

Ahead, the newlyweds stood silhouetted against the vibrant canvas. Their figures, a perfect counterpoint to the vibrant expanse, were bathed in the soft, waning light. The bride's dress, a vision of white that seemed to glow against the dramatic sky, pooled around her ankles, leaving a delicate trail of lace in the damp sand.
