A wedding shoot takes me full circle

I recently had the incredible experience of shooting a wedding that brought everything full circle for me. The beautiful bride, Natasha, was a real estate agent years ago. After a questionable experience with a photographer, she was looking for someone new and stumbled upon me.

Back then, I was a fledgling photographer focusing on portraits and landscapes. Natasha took a chance on me, trusting my artistic vision to capture a unique property. The client loved the results, even though I had no real estate photography experience.

That successful shoot, thanks to Natasha's faith in me, was a turning point. It led to a half-page ad in a local newspaper showcasing my work and attracting more real estate clients. Soon after, I transitioned to full-time commercial photography.

Fast forward to recently, when Natasha messaged me on Facebook. I assumed it was another property shoot request, but it turned out she was getting married! Thrilled and a little surprised, I said.professionally, “OMFG! I’m so happy OMFG, YES!!!!!”…

Natasha said, "I can't think of anyone I prefer to shoot my big day more than you."

It truly was a full-circle moment. The person who gave me my first commercial gig as an amateur photographer was now trusting me to capture her most special day. I am incredibly grateful for Natasha's kindness, insightfulness, and not setting herself on fire.   I’ll ad the link it’s fun.

The marquee was a floral wonderland, overflowing with fresh blooms in every corner. Instead of a traditional sit-down meal, they surprised everyone with a taco truck – a delicious and fun twist! The band kept the energy high all night, and the guests, dressed to the nines, clearly reveled in the celebration. It was a long day, but seeing everyone come together and have such a blast made it incredibly fulfilling.

Seeing her so in love and fulfilled made me even happier to provide her with beautiful images. It's a special thing when a colleague becomes a friend. On her wedding night, I wasn't just a vendor, I was treated like family.

Natasha and Brad, I wish you all the happiness in the universe! May these images represent the continuation of an amazing journey together.
